Bagel and Hot Tea Update!

Sorry about last week. With this national holiday that just happened, I was not in a great place to update you all, but I am back and better than ever.

Highlight since last Thursday: Being home has been my highlight! I had a lot of fun while I was traveling, but it was nice to be able to relax with my wife, and see my teenagers on Sunday. I missed being at youth group so much when I was gone. So I’m glad to be back!

Book(s) I’m reading: I had started reading Intuitive Leadership by Tim Keel, but I put it down. I am almost done with Youth Ministry 3.0 by Marko. I’ll do a book review soon when I am done.

Music I’m digging: I have seen the band Remedy Drive in concert several times, and I think they are awesome. We had them come to our church for a concert and they were great, and such great guys. I have been listening to their music a lot lately. Our students love them. You should buy their albums!

Something(s) that blew my mind: My wife! She is amazing, and she is such an awesome woman of faith!

Ministry update: It’s one of my busiest times of year, and I feel like I am starting behind the eight ball. All this travel has been great, but I am way behind. My goal is to be caught up by Monday. We shall see.

Something Random: Last month was “No Shave November”. I gladly participated. Due to the amazing results seen on my face (picture), and the fact that my wife wants me to continue (seriously), I will be participating in “Don’t Shave December”.

Looking forward to: Christmas shopping for my niece and nephew!

Final Thoughts: I am trying to decide what to do with all of my Best Buy gift cards. Maybe you can help. Do I get a TiVo, or do I get an Xbox 360. I am leaning towards the Xbox, but I am still undecided.
